A blog with a pretentious name by someone whose PDE knowledge is essentially nil.
What is this blog for? In the LLM age, well-written technical blog posts are no longer the best source of information. If I were to write to inform, I would simply provide an outline for the reader to give to LLMs to generate an article in a style they prefer.
I write to express myself. I hope this blog paints a picture of who I am (or at least, how I want to present myself), both mathematically and otherwise.
This blog was initiated in July 2026. Posts dated before that were migrated from my former blog which is now defunct.

- Terra Australis: a series containing five posts, where I talk about some of my experiences in Australia and thoughts derived therefrom.
- On pairwise independence
I need to read a lot more to write the following:
- Isomorphism theorems: from the classical Ray-Knight theorems, to those by Dynkin, Le Jan, Sznitman, Lupu, and possibly ones by Bauerschmidt-Helmuth-Swan
- ‘Inter-universal’ random geometry in two dimensions: exploring the common geodesic structure of the directed landscape and Liouville quantum gravity
I write when I feel like it.
Sibelius’s Symphony No. 7 is one of my favourite works. I think it happens to somewhat fit the name of this blog.
